UTP Destinations Now Open For Visiting

At last, we find ourselves seemingly approaching the end of odd times like the modern world has never seen before. The past few months have provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with family and recharge. However, for the wanderlust-seeking ones, the itch to travel is greater than ever.

Worry not, though, our time has come! As the countries slowly lift their restrictions and travel bans, it’s time to plan your next trip. So, where exactly can you travel as soon as possible? Below is a list of the Untravelled Paths destinations you can travel to and from the United Kingdom, with no self-isolation required on arrival or upon your return.

Trulli houses in Alberobello, Puglia, Italy

1. Italy

One of the European countries that has been most affected by the pandemic, Italy is also one of the first countries to recover. Travellers will not have to self-isolate on entry or return from Italy. No other restrictions or requirements are in place either, so travel here is hassle-free.

For an end of summer food, wine and sunshine, check out our Dolce Vita Experience. This, along with the fact that Puglia is less crowded than the other Italian regions, makes it a winner in our book.

Plaza Espana in Seville, Andalusia, Southern Spain

2. Spain

As with Italy above, Spain is now deemed safe to travel. However, please note that travellers from the UK will have to provide the Spanish Ministry of Health with mandatory contact information and history of COVID-19 exposure 48 hours before travel. They will also undergo a temperature check and visual health assessment upon entry.

If sun-kissed Spain is your choice of travel, check out our Andalusia Experience, a four-night adventure filled with colour and delicious cuisine. For the animal lovers, we have the Iberian Lynx Experience, taking place in the forests of Sierra de Andujar.

Hot Air Balloons flying over rock landscape in Cappadocia, Turkey

3. Turkey

Travel to most regions of Turkey, with the exception of the border with Syria, is permitted. This, fortunately, also includes Cappadocia. Travellers will undergo a medical evaluation for coronavirus symptoms and temperature checks upon entry. You will also be required to wear a face mask during the flights and whilst at the airport.

For a once-in-a-lifetime experience soaring over the rocky landscapes of Cappadocia, check out our Hot Air Ballooning Experience.

The Northern lights over a Trapper’s Station in Longyearbyen, Svalbard

4. Norway

If you’d rather give summer a miss and are looking to travel in winter, then Norway’s the place to be. Restrictions have been lifted and UK residents don’t have to self-isolate. As such, pair it up with a bucket-list experience and check out our Northern Lights Experience. Venture to the Arctic Svalbard, witness the Polar Night, and go on a husky ride in search of the elusive Aurora Borealis. An experience not to miss, pandemic or not.
