Day 2 San Telmo & Delta Tigra Experience

Start the day in San Telmo, exploring its famous Sunday market. Wander through vibrant stalls, sample local street food, and enjoy live street tango performances. Midday you will transfer to Tigre for a scenic boat ride through the Tigre Delta, passing waterways, islands, and local homes. Later on, you will experience a traditional Argentine Asado with a local family.

Day 3 Visit Colonia Del Sacramento

Depart early this morning from the port in Buenos Aires and travel across the Río de la Plata to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. Day 15 Safe Travels or Extend to Iguazú Falls

Today sadly for those of you that aren't extending your trip, your trip journey comes to an end with a final transfer to the airport for your departure. If extended you will have your transfer to the airport to fly to Iguazú, and in the afternoon enjoying the Falls and taking in the breathtaking views of one of the world's natural wonders. (Argentinian Side).

As a tour operator we are not able to offer inclusive flights as part of our experiences however we are more than happy to help you find the most appropriate incoming and outgoing flights for you. There is no direct flights from the United Kingdom to Buenos Aires. We highly recommend using Skyscanner to find the cheapest flights or routes.

We will get back to you answering any questions you might have and confirming availability. If all is good, we can hold the places for you for 48 hours while you book your flights. Please note that this stage does not represent a guarantee of the booking.

BOOKING FORM

Once you have made your necessary arrangements, we will send you a booking form you will need to fill in with your details and any other relevant information.

PAY FOR YOUR TRIP

As you fill in the booking form, you will also be asked to make the payment through a secure link; if you are travelling in less than 8 weeks, the payment will be paid in full, otherwise only a 35% deposit will be taken.

FINAL CONFIRMATION

Shortly after you pay, you will receive a confirmation invoice, followed by a personalised itinerary and digital booklet. All you need to do now is write the dates in your diary, prepare your packing list and look forward to your next adventure!

Is Argentina a cash society?

Argentina has a mixed cash and digital payment society. While cash is widely used, especially for small transactions and in rural areas, credit and debit cards, as well as mobile payment options, are becoming increasingly popular. However, due to economic factors and inflation, many people prefer to use cash for everyday purchases. It's advisable to carry some cash, particularly when traveling outside major cities.

Is Argentina a tipping culture?

Yes, Argentina has a tipping culture. It is customary to leave a tip in restaurants, typically around 10% of the total bill, although this can vary based on the level of service.

What budget should I expect for meals?

For food in Argentina, you should budget approximately £11 to £19 GBP per day per person. This estimate includes meals at local restaurants, with options ranging from street food costing about £2 to £5 GBP to more substantial meals at sit-down restaurants priced around £10 to £15 GBP. 

How do I go about booking optional activities?

How is the weather?

From January to March, expect hot and dry weather in Mendoza, with warm and pleasant conditions in Bariloche and humid temperatures in Buenos Aires. February continues the warmth in Mendoza and Bariloche, while Buenos Aires remains hot and humid. From March to May brings milder temperatures in all three locations, with Mendoza experiencing occasional rain, Bariloche becoming cooler and wetter, and Buenos Aires experiencing reduced humidity.

What is the official language of Argentina?

The official language spoken in Argentina is Spanish. Highly recommended to learn basic phrases to enhance experience as English isn't widely spoken outside of the touristic hubs.
