TRIP TIPS

tips image

Drinking Water

While Turkish tap water is heavily chlorinated and considered safe to drink. However, we always recommend sticking to bottled water to avoid any stomach upsets! Far from ideal when exploring.

tips image

Religious Sight Etiquette

If you are visiting religious sights, including the Blue Mosque, you need to cover your shoulders, upper arms, legs, take off your shoes and women need to wear a scarf over their heads.

tips image

Consider an Extra Nights

You may wish to consider extending your start on the coast by a night or two and take advantage of the weekend. You could also add time in Istanbul or even combine with another nearby country.

tips image

E-Visa

UK passport holders can apply for an e-visa via the Turkish immigration website. Other nationalities will need to confirm the requirements but it's always prudent to do this.
